Beautiful Timber Cladding Facades at York St. John's University

Some first glimpses of the striking BCL external timber cladding panels being delivered with Kier Construction at YSJU. This beautiful design involves fire protected (via impregnation) Siberian Larch wood cladding panels in varying section sizes and layouts to emboss unique texture onto its wooden panel facade.

The project, designed by Tate Harmer architects, also uses BCL acoustic timber panels to its internal surfaces, to create Class A acoustic wood ceilings and acoustic timber wall panels that marry with its outer envelope and deliver all environmental and acoustic target requirements. With so many varying aesthetics, this project is a perfect example of harnessing the design flexbility of the BCL timber panel system to deliver unique finishes in solid timber, whilst harnessing efficiency across a large project area.
