Timber ‘weave’ panels first fix at Sheffield Moor

BCL have started installing the unique ‘timber weave’ panels at Sheffield Moor Market. The panels use Western Red Cedar, woven through vertical timber battens to create a truly unique timber cladding panel system.

The project, costing a total of £17.5M will completely reinvigorate the old market area with over 200 shops and stalls, housed in a 79,000 sq ft area. Main contractor on the job, Bowmer & Kirkland (who BCL have worked with several times in the past) have tasked BCL with the full design, manufacture and installation of the job.
