BH2 Leisure Complete with BCL External Cladding System
The new Bournemouth Leisure Complex, BH2 Leisure is now complete, and BCL panels feature as part of the impressive external timber cladding panel system.
The new leisure centre complete with restaurants, car park and a multi-screen cinema was designed by Broadway Malyan, with Vinci Construction as the main contractor.
BCL completed in May 2016, with the external timber cladding taking 12 weeks and costing £350,000.
Over 1000m2 of Siberian Larch prefabricated wooden cladding panels were used at BH2. The complex has BCL timber ‘screens’ incorporated into its external design as well as curved timber panels. The timber slat system has fully concealed fixings giving the building a smooth, contemporary appearance.
