BCL Timber Screens to Feature at West Central Leisure Complex

BCL are pleased to announce that our timber panels will be integrated into the development of the new West Central Leisure Complex, in Bournemouth. The regeneration project will feature restaurants, shops and a 2,000 seat cinema.

The development, designed by Broadway Malyan, features a number of external timber screens that will be incorporated into the external wood cladding system. Vinci, the contractor of the project, has chosen our high durability and hard density ‘Siberian Larch’ timber for the exterior.

The installation will cost £350,000; it will have a prefabricated panel system with fully concealed fixings, creating a sleek and modern look to the building.

The whole project build will take 60 weeks and is set for completion in May this year. BCL design, manufacture and install our own panels and the fitting of these will take 12 weeks.
