We are nearing the completion of this beautiful feature acoustic timber wall system at Leicester City FC for Gariff construction. The system, using American White Oak solid wood in a Class A acoustic configuration creates a unique timber ‘wave’ and beautiful finish to this space.
The timber has been treated in a Euroclass B lacquer with a translucent ‘white-wash’ coating, helping to brighten the space and meet the required fire performance criteria of the building. This is a great example of the flexible design approach BCL take, by developing a ‘clip in’ slat system allowing each wooden slat to be fixed individually, helping to traverse the twisting wave geometry easily.
