BCL Timber has an in-house team of BIM design experts who have worked on a range of projects across the UK. Because of their combined experience in both system design and 3D modelling, they can support architects and provide detailed system designs, creating panel systems that fit projects perfectly, without additional site modifications – which is at the heart of BCL’s unique value proposition, offering more project-specific design flexibility, whilst improving on-site efficiency and installation.
High-Quality Manufacturing & Installation
Our wood panels are manufactured in a modern factory following a complete QA framework. BCL is an ISO 9001-approved company, meaning that each aspect of the construction process is consistently monitored.
Instead of working within rigid design constraints and supplying pre-made slat wood wall panels, we allow space for flexibility and creativity, culminating in some truly spectacular projects. The installation process is made more efficient as there is little to no cutting on site, leading to quicker installation times, reduced on-site waste and lower prelim costs for the main contractor.
UKAS-based testing is also offered to ensure that commercial projects meet all relevant regulations. We offer EN13501-1 fire testing of full scale assemblies, ensuring total compliance with Approved Document B and other regulations. Also for specialised projects requiring specific acoustic performance, we also perform ISO 11654 testing to provide acoustic timber panels up to the top of the Class A performance band.
Our installation is completed by certified fixers who work across the country, and we are able to create systems for projects in Europe, the Gulf regions and Asia.
