The latest being our revolutionary solution for non-combustible wood – our Aluminium TIMBER EFFECT, that creates stunningly realistic faux wood, fully fire-resistant timber finishes for walls & ceilings with all of the same acoustic performance, design flexibility and on-site efficiency of a BCL timber slatted panel system – but crucially allowing for safer buildings and aligning with the tighter and more diligent fire assessment and strategies of today.

Barrett Ceilings was founded in 1973 by Brian Barrett to carry out suspended ceilings, partitioning & dry-lining work. Following the successful completion of several prestigious wood ceilings, including Wimbledon AELTCC - the decision was taken to establish a dedicated presence in this market by the formation of BCL Timber Projects.

Over the past five decades, the company has transformed from a small ceiling business into a leading provider of timber slat walls, acoustic wood ceilings and wooden cladding panels and are now specified and collaborate on some of the biggest projects in the UK and abroad, increasing its numbers each year.
