Moto’s Wetherby service station at Junction 46 of the A1(M) is being hailed as Britain’s ‘greenest’. With features such as water boreholes, natural ventilation and over 2000 trees planted on the site, it is clear that environmental impact is of the upmost importance to Moto. All of BCL’s timber is sourced from sustainable accredited sources and thus aligned perfectly with the environmental focus of the project. BCL also incorporated their expert knowledge in acoustics to design and manufacture timber ceiling panels that were acoustically lined, helping North Midland Building meet all their specified ratings (thermal and acoustic).
